A family & I that I photographed Wednesday morning found a new location that is awesome!! It is an old home place of someone I know, but didn't know that's whose it was at the time. It was the perfect location for this beautiful mom & 4 kiddos! Here is a sneak peek for you! I'll have the rest up later today or tomorrow! I hope you like them as much as I do!

This Fabulous Weekend

So...I had a fabulously fun filled photographing weekend! Saturday morning I started with a couple and their babies: Sosha, Winston & Milley, but Milley wouldn't get in the photos...she wasn't excited at all when we tried to take her outside, she stays in all the time--she is a beautiful feline! Winston is a handsome lap dog that I can't find the spelling to, and Sosha is a cute chocolate lab. I had such a great time photographing this adorable family!

Saturday afternoon I had a fun time with my painted model! Kelly Boyett, a local artist came over and painted Jordan, the model for me--I have no artist ability when it comes to paint and a paint brush!! Kelly did a fabulous job and just came up with the design on the spot b/c the only thing I knew I wanted were the colors and for it to be abstract and scrolly looking! Jordan did a great job, as always! I am absolutely in love with these new photos!! I hope you like them as well!!

Sunday was a packed day also; I did mini sessions in Carthage. My afternoon was full of appointments and adorable children! A special Thank You go's out to Stacie S. who told her sorority about the mini sessions; who all in turn booked my afternoon right up! :)

I had a great time photographing Kaylie, as I call her "a little woman," who enjoys modeling, pageants, cheerleading and playing football. So we incorporated all of her favorite things to do into one photo shoot and had a blast!! Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

I had a great time yesterday photographing an engaged couple, Miranda & Chris. You can tell by the way they look at eachother they are so in love! That's what I love about what I do: being able to capture moments that show love and emotion so purely.

So I'm at home this weekend with a sick little girl. Halle has a strand of the chicken pox and a fever...so she's not happy! And on top of that she is cutting her bottom mollars..not fun!! But we've been watching "Center Stage" and she was showing me her latest dance moves--quite a little entertainer she is!!!

So it's been over 2 months since my last blog and a lot has happened since then! I have been super busy with photography and yesterday was my new member reception at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce!! Since my reception yesterday the views on my website have actually tripled! Very exciting!

I have been so blessed with current, repeat clients, and with new clients! I am so thankful for each client that I have and hope to please each of you.

Something new I am doing is a drawing for a free session with me! I haven't decided how often I will be holding these drawings, but I will probably do this at least every quarter, maybe more often; depending on the response I get. So sign up--the instructions are on the "Home" page.

So, I've never been a "blogger" before, but I'll give it a shot. I know the title isn't so good; I'll try better next time. I just can't think of anything right now! :)

More than likely my blogs will end up mostly being photos, but I am a photographer, so what should be expected!?!?
